But we can still party! Last night hung out with my buddies and went to Glasslands Gallery in Brooklyn for the first time. We saw this band 'Tayisha Busay', an electronic/dance trio and they totally rocked hard. They come across as a crazy mix of Amanda Blank, Uffie & Ke$ha, but more hardcore. The venue was small, but they played as if they were in an arena. Check out their EP Shock-Woo on iTunes, it's well worth your money. You can find the link here.

SparkPlug Comic Books Party
Recently I attended the Spark Plug comic books' book release party for Nate Doyle and Austin English. It was a heck load of fun and here is how it went down. (You also might notice that on the first page it dates November which is incorrect, this actually took place this month December.)
Today I had planned to go visit the Brooklyn Comics and Graphics Fest, which is going to include Adrian Tomine, Charles Burn & Julia Wertz a few of my favorite contemporary artists & writers. Unfortunately, a friend of mine asked me if I could help him on a film shoot and I agreed to go. So now I'm at Columbia University, shooting a short film. I wish I could be at two places at once.
